GUEST PREACHER ON JUNE 1

For 179 years Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne (CTSFW) has been forming servants in Christ who teach the faithful, reach the lost, and care for all. Join us on Sunday, June 1st to learn more about what CTSFW is doing to prepare laborers for our Lord's harvest field here in Wichita and around the world.  That morning, Rev. Matthew Montgomery, an advancement officer at CTSFW, will preach in the Divine Service and teach a Bible study on some of the ways in which the Lord has used messengers in Scripture.  Bible study will conclude with an update on the ways in which the Lord is using CTSFW to prepare messengers who deliver His forgiveness. Please join us!

The Rev. Matthew Montgomery is a 2015 graduate of CTSFW. Prior to being called to the Advancement staff at the Seminary, Rev. Montgomery served as pastor of St. John Lutheran church in Onarga, Illinois, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sadorus, Illinois. Before attending the Seminary, he worked 14 years for non-profit organizations, most recently at the American Cancer Society. During this time, Matthew worked as a fundraiser, trainer, and executive director. Rev. Montgomery and his wife, Dawn, have two grown children.
